First up is my second random show.

Second up is my third random show, and this was indeed a very random show.
Not only was the tracklist very varied, I also had trouble fitting in even the first round of requests during my 2 hours due to the massive amount of listeners and had to extend :)
My RAM also ran out twice during the show, forcing me to end a little earlier than planned.

Did you like the denpa songs you heard on my Japan themed show, or did you miss the show and want to know what this genre is all about?
Do you want over-the-top cheesy vocals, colorful and happy melodies with wacky lyrics?
Then this theme is for you. We will listen to music from circles and artists such as MOSAIC.WAV, IOSYS, Confetto, MMBK.COM, ちぃむdmp☆ ^{(team dmp)} and ポヤッチオ ^(poyachio).

2. かたほとり ^(katahotori) artist review

かたほとり ^(katahotori) is the person behind the famous denpa doujin circle ポヤッチオ ^(poyachio).
His sound could be described as slightly lo-fi, happy and upbeat with chiptune influences with his signature trait being great harmonies and interesting chord progressions.
We'll start by listening to his earlier vocaloid productions and then move on to more recent stuff featuring famous denpa vocalists such as ななひら ^(nanahira), 桃箱 ^(momobako), miko, nayuta and とろ美 ^(toromi).

3. IOSYS artist review

Brace yourself for a very different and varied show.
IOSYS is a doujin (indie) music circle from Japan, led by ARM.
Thanks to its diverse lineup of members and guests on their albums they have released music that covers most big genres.
Opera, drum and bass, hardcore, denpa, house, rock, metal, soul, pop, rap, you name it.

We will listen to some good, and some maybe not so good songs in an effort to discover at least a fraction of their different sounds :)
