This week on Rock Explorer we had a chance to hear some fascinating stories behind some of the requests from the audience, talk about one interesting website and listen to some interesting selections of my own. See the recap:

• Some of the requests introducing new music featured artists like Bad Seed Rising, Jackyl (with Brian Johnson on the vocals as a guest!) (Kate's requests), Slash's Snakepit (paulesco's request) and Dido (Znurre's request) as a shocker.
• Myself I played some of my new findings this week by artists such as Black Spiders (see the video below), Candlelight Red, Dinosaur Pile-Up and one classic by Dio.
• We spoke about an interesting music-related website called www.music-map.com. Just key in your favorite band and you'll see what other bands there are close to it that you will most likely appreciate, too!
• Next week there will be no Rock Explorer on Wednesday. It's the Alien day and I'll be seeing the Ridley Scott's 1979 classic "Alien" on a big screen in the cinema. Rock Explorer to be back on May 3rd.
